Hikkaduwa beach - Located 98 km south of Colombo, Hikkaduwa is one of the most popular beach resorts of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka's only marine sanctuary is located in Hikkaduwa and is an ideal place for nature lovers with its abundant corals and tropical fishes.

After breakfast day excursion to Galle. Galle – An ancient city is now a modern and buzzing town, though the Dutch fortress remains as it was during the Dutch period. Galle was the most important sea port at the crossroads of Far East & Middle East since the days of the Romans. The Dutch Fortress is one of the best preserved in the Island. The oldest Protestant church in the country called the ‘’ Groote Kirk ’’ built by the Dutch among many other buildings, villas, bungalows, mosques are inside the fort, fortified by massive ramparts
Another famous tourist attraction in Galle is the Unawatuna Beach, which is renowned for the calm sea that is best for safe swimming and snorkelling. Unawatuna is also rich in its bio diversity and is a true haven for those who love a walk on the perfect crescent on the sand.
Apart from these there are several other attractions of reflect religion, culture and ancient history which will undoubtedly bring excitement and knowledge to anybody who visits Galle.
After breakfast proceed to Mirissa. Mirissa and its breathtaking sandy beach pretty much transform your dreams and visions of a tropical paradise into an everyday reality. This small sandy tropical beach boasts some of Sri Lanka’s best and most stunning sunsets and sunrises. All the Guest Houses in Mirissa are set back from the actual beach giving you the impression that you are on a deserted palm fringed island.
Early morning leave for Whale watching at Mirissa beach. Whale watching in Mirissa is your perfect destination for Dolphin and whale watching. Whale Watching is becoming increasingly popular and among the tour providers are Sri Lanka navy, which has started whale watching tours to cater to a rising demand. Sri Lankan waters are blessed with high number of whales for its location in the protected zone in Indian Ocean and the southern coast of Sri Lanka is close to the migration path of whales. It was reported five types of whales sperm whale, blue whale, pilot whale, bryde's whale and killer whale & four kind of dolphins stripped dolphin, spinner dolphin, Risso's dolphin and bottle nose dolphin in mirissa.

After breakfast drive to Ella, Driving to the Ella in Sri Lanka’s central hills, you will ascend from the lowlands to the Central Highland through enchanting scenery and waterfalls en route. Some of the much see destinations on your way are the Rawana waterfalls and Buduruwagala rock, one of the oldest stone statues carved in the ancient Sinhalese kingdom.
After the breakfast trekking with our guide to little Adams peak and walking trail through the valleys, tea plantation and hills. Ella is a beautiful, yet sleepy town on the southern edge of Sri Lanka’s Hill country, situated in the middle of beautiful countryside, dotted by small vegetable plots in the valleys and tea plantations on the hill slopes and forests on the tops. You can go trekking, indulging in beautiful scenery, trekking through a walking trail through the valleys, tea plantation and hills. This small town is used as a base for plenty of trekking expeditions to the surrounding countryside.
After breakfast take you to Ella railway station for train ride on observation coach to Kandy. The train travels in one of the most spectacular and beautiful rail routes, hugging Narrow Mountain passes with views of mountain ranges and waterfalls.
Get down from the Kandy railway station and our guide will pick you from Kandy railway station and drive to Kandy directly.Kandy, Kandy was also the capital of the last Sinhalese kingdom, which fell to the British in 1815 after defying the Portuguese and Dutch for three centuries. It is offering a living record of a magnificent past with history, culture, forested hills and a touch of urban buzz.
Visit Upper Lake drive, take a stroll in the bazaar and markets, visit Anglican Cathedral and Hindu Temples. And finally, visit the sacred Tooth relic Temple which is the custodian of the Buddha’s Tooth relic. The Tooth relic is encased in seven caskets; the outermost of which has the shape of a Stupa adorned with a large number of or gold ornaments.
Another tourist attraction, Peradeniya botanical Garden was originally founded in 1371 as the queen’s pleasure garden, later becoming the residence of a Kandyan king. The 60 hector park was later converted into a botanical garden with extensive well-kept lawns, pavilions, and an orchid house with an outstanding collection, numerous flower beds with cannas, croton and colorful bougainvilleas. Giant water lily and papyrus reeds complement unusually exotic specimen trees.

It is a real paradise for those who love to hike or mountain bike. Knukles is enrich variety of plant and animal such as Mammals include mouse deer, leopards, wild squirrels, verity of monkeys and deer, , giant squirrels, wild boar and many species of amphibians, , spiders, butterflies, reptiles, fish and birds can be found here.

01. Anuradhapura - Anuradhapura, the first Sri Lankan ancient capital and center of the island’s Buddhist civilization dates back to the 03rd Century .Much of the ancient heritage in this old city was found buried and excavated. Its pleasure gardens, fine stone baths and ponds and a superb irrigation system of reservoirs and canals and Impressive white ‘Dagabas ‘are embellished with spectacular stone carvings and sculpture. Anuradhapura is a major destination for pilgrimages and has the oldest documented tree dating back to over 2000 years, revered as the sacred Bodhi Tree or Sri Maha Bodhi under which the Buddha attained enlightenment.
02. Polonnaruwa – The ancient city of Polonnaruwa was the capital of the Buddhist Agrarian civilization after the decline of Anuradhapura (11th – 13th Century) .Its period of greatness lasted from tenth century AD to 12th. The Polonnaruwa era was famous for huge man made reservoirs, most famous of which is the Prakrama Samudra or the Sea of Parakrama, which is larger than the Colombo harbor.
The glory s of this ancient city is relatively well preserved and give evidence of the miracles of Sri Lanka’s past. See the Royal Palace complex, the Quadrangle with its concentration of ancient heritage and the spectacular Gal vihare complex of four massive images of the Buddha, cut from a single slab of granite – one of the tallest of ancient Sri Lankan rock carvings.
03. Sigiriya –You may climb Sigiriya rock fortress. The Lion Rock Citadel is a world heritage site. Sigiriya was the Royal Citadel of King Kasyapa who ruled in the 5th Century A.D. He built moats, terrace gardens, beautiful ancient frescos of heavenly maidens in a pocket of the rock, water gardens, Miniature water gardens, boulder gardens, and a fountain garden atop this rock. Stone staircases were erected leading up to the rock and you can see mirror wall around the western side of the rock. On the top of the rock are the ruins of the palace & two intact man-made pools of water
After the breakfast proceed to Negambo check in to hotel and relax at Negambo beach. Negombo is the nearest town to the airport. Relax at the Beach in Negombo. Enjoy the soothing breeze, and take a stroll along the beach front, explore the olden buildings in the city that dates back to the Dutch & Portuguese Colonial days. The expansive sandy beaches and a relaxed atmosphere make Negombo the ideal place to relax. It is also a place to find a variety of fish including shrimps, prawns, lobsters, crabs, seer and etc.

The view from our balcony in room # 409, was terrific. It was centrally located to everything on and around the port area. Wonderful service and everything was very clean. The breakfast was below average, although not bad. If back in Zante Town we would stay there again.
It is close to everything but if you go in the lower season the pool won't be ready even though the temperature was quiet high already.
